My daughter likes to do her homework, but she cannot tolerate reading homework. She has no difficulty with other subjects and is quick with her assignments. Could this be dyslexia or is it just a sign of stubbornness?

If she can't stand reading, it could indeed be a sign of dyslexia. Especially if she doesn't have problems with other subjects, you need to think about it. See a dyslexia tutor, as my cousin did when he had similar problems with his children. The specialist will assess how the child pronounces letters and sounds, and through various techniques will turn reading into a real task that the child will start to enjoy. And just in case, check with the school about screening.
