The Tribesmen are top of Division One after an unbeaten start to 2025 while the Red Hands are in the relegation mix after three successive losses.
PADRAIC Joyce’s Tribesmen have shown that they are thriving under the new enhancements, with the Connacht champions and All-Ireland finalists last year not losing a game yet.
Joyce’s boys now meet Tyrone in the fifth round of fixtures in this year’s National Football League and can be confident against Malachy O’Rourke’s side with the Red Hands not managing a win since the opening week of the season against Derry.
The last time these two sides met was in Omagh in last year’s league campaign, with the away side winning by a single point. The two sides were evenly matched in the league, finishing fifth and sixth respectively.
