Alcoholics Anonymous 12 Steps are a structured program to help individuals recover from alcoholism. Having gone through the process myself, I can share that the steps start with admitting powerlessness over alcohol and believing in a higher power. This is followed by a moral inventory, admitting wrongs, becoming ready for change, and making amends. Continued self-reflection and prayer are also key components. The final step involves helping others achieve sobriety. This journey fosters personal growth and sustained recovery, and has been transformative for me. It’s challenging but incredibly rewarding.
