I’ve got to share the saga of my last hike—it was like an episode of a survival show! I was so excited to capture the stunning vistas that I crammed my backpack full of gear, thinking more is better. I had my hefty DSLR, three lenses, a drone, and even a portable speaker to blast some tunes on the trail. About a mile in, I was panting and wishing I’d brought a sherpa instead of my own two legs! When I finally got to the top, I was so drained I could barely lift my camera for a few quick snaps. I really need to rethink my packing strategy for the next trip!

The first-person driving game known as Traffic Rider puts you in control of a motorbike and allows you to ride through traffic at high speeds while you are behind the handlebars.

I used to make the same mistake until I discovered the camera harness from Cotton Carrier. It’s been a total game changer! It redistributes the weight so well that you hardly feel it on your back. I can just clip my camera on and off as needed, which makes shooting on the go super convenient. If you want to lighten your load, you’ve got to check it out here: https://www.cottoncarrier.com/pages/...-carrying-tool. Trust me, it will revolutionize your hiking experience!

I think there’s a more practical way to handle this whole gear dilemma. Instead of lugging around all that equipment, consider renting what you need from a local shop. I gave it a shot on my last hike, and it was liberating! I rented a sleek mirrorless camera that was perfect for hiking—lightweight and easy to carry. It allowed me to fully enjoy the scenery without the burden of heavy gear. Plus, the rental staff had fantastic suggestions for hidden spots that turned out to be the highlights of my trip. Sometimes, less is definitely more when it comes to enjoying the great outdoors!
