Hi! I recently bought a manicure lamp, but I have several questions. For example, how long should the gel base dry? And how do you know when the lamp is not powerful enough for a quality manicure? I read a lot of different reviews, but I still haven't found an exact answer. Can anyone share their experience on how to choose the right lamp?

I recently encountered this too. In fact, the drying time depends on the power of the lamp and the type of gel. The more powerful the lamp, the faster it will dry the material. For gel coatings, 30 seconds per layer is often enough, but if you have a 24 W lamp or less, you may need to dry for a minute. I use Dark nail gel, and a 48 W lamp works great with it. It dries quickly, and the manicure is durable.

I have also recently been looking for information about lamps. Honestly, I think the main thing is the power and type of lamp. I had several options, and I really liked the LED lamp. It dries faster and is more economical than UV lamps. But do not forget that it is also important to choose the right gel, since different coatings may require different drying times.
