I've been thinking about switching to programmable tokens with NFC. I read that they allow you to set up multiple profiles, which is convenient if you need to use one token for different services. I remember how I used to have to carry several different devices - it's inconvenient and easy to lose something. Does anyone use such solutions? I wonder how reliable they are and how easy they are to program?

We just implemented programmable tokens with NFC at work. Very convenient, especially if you need to quickly add or change settings. Read here: Two-Factor Authentication Methods. Several of our employees tested it - the settings are intuitive, and access is restored in a couple of minutes if something is reset. -
I've seen similar tokens for sale, but haven't used them myself. Sounds like a good option for those who change devices or logins often. Might be worth a try if they're really that convenient.Comment
